Tuesday, July 5: Beautiful BC

We left the picturesque Osoyos Veterans Memorial Park at the usual time, heading for the Canadian border.

Yesterday we had filled out the ArrivCanada app to indicate when we would cross the boarder and where we would be staying. The only problem was that we weren’t staying anyplace in particular in  yet we had to specify a location! We decided to pick the Pioneer RV park in Yellowhorse, since it was the only place we knew about. They didn’t even ask us about where we might stay. However, the made us throw our eggs out. Fortunately the area was an amazing farming area with lots of fresh fruit, and farm fresh eggs. Yumm!

At the end of the day we stayed at Lac Le Heche Lake Provincial Park where the mosquitos were horrid. Larry didn’t feel well and hit the hay early while Betsy and I walked in search of a couple of geocaches. As long as we were moving the giant insects were unable to carry us away.
