Friday, July 1: Canada Day

Friday, which happened to be Canada Day, provided a good excuse to kick back. We drove back to Missoula for a nice lunch and beer at a local dog friendly brewery. Then took a walk on the river front. All in all it was a pleasant afternoon if a bit warm. When heading back to camp we decided to avoid Reserve Drive where modern shopping and Costco are located. Just like yesterday traffic was backed up for at least a mile heading west into that area. A better option was to head due east on the eastern side of the Clark Fork River and pick up the freeway there. Good choice! No backups and smooth sailing all the way back to Superior.
